Thankful Thursday

Well, well, well Thankful Thursday, huh!? This is my first of such posts. And can you believe it? It took me this long to pull one of these out of my head. So, without further adieu, the things I am thankful for- today's edition:

• Short days at work, especially the UNEXPECTED short days!!
• Completing a long, laborious project at work. A project that you suspected you would NEVER finish, a project that has taken so much time and effort, that is now COMPLETED!!
  
• THE SUN!! The sun and its warm, shining glow. WOW! Is it beautiful or WHAT!? And OH, SO welcomed.
• Elementary school band concerts... oh, the sweet, adorable, goodness. I just love it, especially when you know the trumpet player :).
  
• A FULL Google Reader... such a fabulous sight!!
  
• Pizza... yummy, cheesy, delicious pizza!! And lemon pie for dessert (hey!? we were celebrating!).
• A nice glass of white wine at the end of a not-so particularly long day.
• The smell of Homie's baked bread rising... delicious.
  
• Listening to the sound of dishes being washed (and knowing it's not you washing them... this time)
• Knowing the Bean is safe and asleep in her bed
• And duh... duh... duh... tomorrow is FRIDAY... that is SUCH a GREAT feeling. And I will be seeing some of my favorite people at a spectacular birthday party tomorrow night... another GREAT feeling.

I hope everyone else has lots to be thankful for this Thursday evening!! And I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend.
