It's Friday! And it's going to be AWESOME!

Confession: I never know how to format(?) my titles. Sometimes, I capitalize, and sometimes I do the sentence thing. Today, I did the sentence thing. But only because, I don't know... is 'TO' capitalized or 'BE'? Again, I just don't know.

Anyways, and moving on... it's FRIDAY!! I am ready to get this work day over with... I plan on listening to music and keeping myself busy... AND then it's the weekend. The weekend of Oktoberfest (in this city). Also, there's a fall festival happening in the cutest downtown of all small towns this weekend. We're taking the Bean to be both, and she's soo excited. And THEN (as if that's not enough excitement), there's a barbecue and surprise party for a couple of our friends. Did I say I'M EXCITED about this weekend or what!?

The Bean has officially begun Algebra. It's great because I.LOVE.MATH (I AM a dork), and just thinking about it puts a smile on my face (I'm getting weirder by the second, I KNOW). The hardest part is getting on her level. I've had Math for years, so what comes naturally to me, doesn't always come naturally to her. Often, I want to say, you do that because of this, but I am quickly informed she hasn't learned that yet. So, I have to breathe, and get down on her level, and think about it from her perspective. OffTopic, but some of the Professors at the local University have a hard time teaching Undergraduate students, because they can't get on their level. HAHA. That DOES NOT happen to me. I just forget that maybe she hasn't learned all of the concepts that are spinning in my head.

Also, they've 'thrown PEMDAS out the window this year' (the Bean's words exactly). Did you use PEMDAS as a tool for learning the order of operations? We did. And it stuck with me. Now, it's forever gone. I'm kind of sad about it... now they use something about Gary... I'm not sure. I was too shocked to care.

Also, the distributive property... my FAVORITE!! Homie and I were discussing it this morning (don't worry, he KNOWS I'm a dork), and it's one of my favorite things EVAH.

Moving on, I forgot to eat breakfast this morning. So, I'm going to have a couple of Girl Scout cookies for breakfast, don't tell anyone. Please?!
